Daniel Arnaldo-Roman is a Puerto Rican visual/media artist, musician, graphic designer and web developer. He lives and works in Puerto Rico. Arnaldo-Roman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico and a Master’s degree in New Media Art, from Donau-Universität Krems.

Alongside his carreer as a visual artist, Roman has taught web and graphic design at several postsecondary education institutions in Puerto Rico, was a co-founder and editor of Trance Liquido; a web based art blog-magazine, and is the main music composer and producer of the post punk bands Lejos Rusia and Cuervo Negro as well as the black metal project Erasmo Solar.

He has used digital technology including computer graphics and web design, film/video, photography as well as more traditional media as oil painting since the mid-1990s in order to fabricate his work, which recontextualize concepts like technology, identity, aesthetics, and ethics.
