One Day I Will Let You Taste My Scars

The consumption of object is what defines our other-self, making us, as consumers to create a simulated character that ultimately becomes our own canned reality. In a more pessimistic sense we becomes the object and the object becomes part of our functional roles. This premise may be seen, as a principle of fetishism as the object on itself becomes part of the body creating another view or a fictional reflection of the self. These social relations within a consumer culture posits commodity as extensions of the social personality and by embodying these qualities and social values to object we are reflecting our desires and our personality.
